Office Visits
This initial office visit generally takes an hour. During our visit we will discuss your current health and history, and establish a treatment plan.
After the first visit some people will elect to have office visits in an ongoing manner for Functional Medicine Assessments and/or herbal medicine.
Virtual visits are available via Zoom.
Acupoint Treatments
The frequency and type of acupoint treatment varies depending on the each person’s individual situation. Barbara will discuss her recommendations at the time of the visit.
- Simple acupuncture or MPS micro-stim treatment: $95
- Brain treatment with MPS micro-stim: $150.00
Please note that if there is an herbal and nutritional visit in conjunction with the acupuncture this is bill at $195/hour
Wellness Coaching
After the initial visit the client and Barbara will determine the frequency of coaching sessions that will help you reach your health goals. This can be done on an as-needed basis or you can sign up for a package of an ongoing coaching program (to find out more about 3 or 6 month coaching programs please call 828 484-9298 for more information.
Cancellation Policy
Please give us a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. If you have missed or rescheduled an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be responsible for the full charge of the office visit. In the event of a family emergency, we waive our cancellation policy. If you are going to be more than 20 minutes late, please contact our office to see if we can still accommodate your visit.
Payment and Insurance
We are set up for direct pay only. We ask that you provide a credit card number and Barbara will input it directly into her Square Account. Barbara also accepts Venmo.

The information you provide is necessary to get started on the road to health. If you have any questions to ask Barbara, please write them down and have them with you when you speak to Barbara for your first appointment.
